Harmony is a group which in Christian love welcomes, supports, & empowers 
lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & intersex persons, their families & friends.

Harmony’s Goals are to provide an environment where participants: 

* Share their stories & concerns in a safe, accepting environment 
* Receive emotional & spiritual support when “coming out” to themselves & to others 
* Are valued & celebrated regardless of real (or perceived) sexual orientation or gender identity 
* Know that confidentiality is honored
* Share helpful information & resources

Group Activities may include, may include but are not limited to:

* Social events, shared meals
* Media discussions
* Educational forums and guest speakers
* Retreats

 Outreach Activities may include but are not limited to:

* Providing educational events, such as forums or speakers for church or community groups
* Participating in advocacy events for equal rights
* Being family to members by including them in holiday celebrations
* Networking and volunteering with organizations that benefit the LGBTI communities and those with HIV / AIDS

Reflections may include, but are not limited to:

* The creative use of art / visual media, words, sound, and movement that frees individuals to express their relationship with God
* The exploration of Scripture and prayer to reveal an inclusive Christ

Meetings will be held in homes or in other companionable settings.
Meeting time and place may change from time to time to accomodate participants

Harmony strongly opposes sexual exploitation of any individual or group, including "reparative therapy."
